Thank you to the strong women in my life, now and in generations past, who have shaped and nurtured my spirit, my life and my dreams. You gave me courage to believe in my potential and reach for my possibilities.
On this #InternationalWomensDay and beyond, I vow to pay that forward… not just to those in my current circle, but to those whose dreams for themselves and their children are limited because of circumstances beyond their control. Wars. Hate. Xenophobia. Violence. Poverty. Famine. Things we can never imagine. Yet all mothers have the same basic needs, hopes and dreams for their babies. How can we who have so much turn our backs on them when they need us?
We must never stop being their voice and fighting for their futures. Nurturing the lives of others, helping them achieve their greatness, is the only way we can truly achieve our own. When women come together it is astonishing what we can achieve, and we can’t afford to leave anyone behind.
Lead with love, act with love, heal with love… one person, one family, one neighborhood, one nation, one planet at a time. 🙏 🌎 ❤️
