Hi everyone! I’m just about to board a flight to Palm Beach to join my friends at American Humane to celebrate the 24th annual Lady in Red Gala! All proceeds from the night will go to LIFE’s partnership with American Humane.
As you know I am an official Ambassador for American Humane which makes me so proud because I love this organization for all the work they do for animals and people.
I have talked about the incredible Lois Pope. She has positively impacted the lives of individuals at the local, national and international levels. Lois and LIFE continue to support many American Humane initiatives including The Hero Dog Awards and Red Star Rescue.
It’s groups like Red Star Rescue that we need to recognize during this cold front on the East Coast. Red Star provide emergency services on-site to animals lost and in need of treatment and temporary housing due to hurricanes, tornados and other disasters. They also help animals that have been victimized by abuse.
Please remember the animals during the blizzards on the East Coast. Please send prayers for their safety.
God bless you and God bless all the creatures on this planet, great and small. Love, Barbara xo
