It’s Pepper’s 10 year Adoption Anniversary! I am so blessed to have him in my family, and he’s lucky too because he had been extremely abused. His back end and tail had been kicked and broken, plus someone had even shot him. I had to get pellets surgically removed. Poor little guy. Understandably, he was very afraid of people. But also grateful and willing to try again to trust – wouldn’t stop giving kisses.
That was 10 years ago. He’s now 14 and knows he is forever safe and loved. It’s why I am so passionate about Animal Rescue. Animals can’t speak, so we must be their voice!
